Video Conference Devoted to Parkinson’s Disease

The Luxembourg Center for Systems Biomedicine (the University of Luxembourg) has become the moderator of the video conference held on June 19, 2020 The participants of the conference were: OSMU Department of Neurology, the Laboratory of Pharmacogenomics at the Institute of Chemical Biology and Fundamental Medicine of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and the University of Luxembourg. During the conference, the details of the Joint Protocol of Parkinson’s Disease research in Omsk Region and prospects for further collaboration were discussed.
Patrick MAY and Maxim PHILIPENKO talked over the issues concerning NeuroChip special characteristics and the number of patients included in the study. Alexey ROZHDESTVENSKY told about a sufficient number of clinical observations and bio-samples taken within the territory of Omsk Region. He also elaborated on a unique clinical data base of patients suffering from Parkinson’s Disease.
Rejko KRUEGER and Katarzyna GOLKOWSKA highly appreciated the perspectives of further cooperation with the Omsk State Medical University and the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The current Cooperation Agreement between the Omsk State Medical University and the University of Luxembourg is supposed to be extended in September 2020.
